SUMMER IN THE SCRIPTURES
SUMMER IN THE SCRIPTURES
Take the 90 day challenge to read the scriptures & pray for the prompts below
Printed sheets will be available at the church
Why pray through the new testament for the next 90 days?
To stay connected to the church all summer.
To create/stay in the habit of reading Scripture and praying daily.
To give God the opportunity to work in you.
To say you have read the entire New Testament!
To pray for God to spark a Holy Spirit movement in our church, our towns, and within you and your family
How to do it when you only have 24 hours a day
Choose the time of day that works best for you: breakfast, lunch, bedtime, etc.
Consider times that you are otherwise occupied: audiobook of the Bible during your
commute, work-out, neighborhood walk, grocery shopping, mowing, chores...
Read/listen to the scripture for the day.
Answer these three questions:
What points did the passage make? What did it say?
What did the passage mean?
What did you learn, and how will you live into it starting today?
Pray about it using the prompt you received that week to help you.
Remember printed sheets will be available at the church & you can sign-up to get text reminders by clicking here.
That’s all it takes! Consider doing this as a family, with your spouse, or find a friend.
